How many hours a week should you work to change the world? Check your heart before you learn it

Elon Musk has expressed through a Twitter post that people have to work around 80 to 100 hours a week to "change the world."
"There are many simple places to work, but no one has changed the world by working just 40 hours a week," said Musk referring to four companies, Tesla, SpaceX, The Boring Company and Neuralink, in which he is CEO .

Asked by a Twitter user about the number of hours a person needs to work each week in order to "change the world," Musk responded by saying that the ideal ranges from 80 to 100 hours.

"It depends on the person, but the 80 stands. The level of suffering exponentially increases over 80 hours, "he says.

Musk said in an interview with Recode in November that he worked 120 hours a week, while "everyone" at Tesla had worked 100 hours a week occasionally this year after Tesla lifted the production of its model sedan Model 3. He said that long hours were needed for Tesla to survive.

"There was no other way to do this," he said.

Tesla's employees have described long-time work as something not to be repeated. Some employees have said that long hours are exaggerated, while some have said they prefer to work 70 or more hours a week.
