Sleeping well, something so underrated.

The other day I was in the English course, I had arrived early for my class, something that does not happen very often in reality but that day I had arrived early for some reason. But later during that class a friend of mine arrived, quite late by the way, but she had arrived with an expression on her face that communicated fatigue, irritability and stress. I did not want to ask, in fact I simply ignored that she had arrived and I only concentrated on seeing my class to fullness, nevertheless during the class I could perceive her anger towards something which I did not know, but her anger was evident. I remember very funny how the teacher asked her to point out the correct answer of something and she was wrong to do it, the teacher corrected her in a normal way (as any other teacher would do), but she was quite annoyed by the criticism she had been given by the professor, almost even started to argue with him. I did not understand the reason for her bad temper at the time.

The next day in the same course, with the same teacher, my friend arrived early just like me but this time she seemed like another person, totally cheerful in good humor with a rather optimistic expression on her face, this time I did not ignore the so extremely change of mood she had had just overnight and at the end of the class very curiously I asked her what had happened to her the day before and what was the reason for her apparent anger at that moment. She told me that the night before she had not slept very well, in fact she had not slept at all and the most incredible thing was that she could not explain the reason, and the fact of not having slept had her on a very irritable and tired mood. That's when I finally came to a totally important conclusion for everyone in our life: A truly good sleep is strictly necessary.

Good sleep (8 hours minimum) makes you feel good throughout the day. As well as the story of my friend there are many more examples in any part of the world, and it is scientifically proven that the amount of sleep at night directly influences the mood of a person the next day, since the rest allows you to feel energetic and lively, unlike if you don't, you will probably feel down, tired and depressed, things that are not very friendly to the average human being. I remember once I had been to a party and the next day I had to get up early to do a couple of jobs in a place far away from my house, but I had arrived late from the party at my house then I decided not to sleep (serious mistake) and to continue awaken for work, the truth is that I thought that if I went to bed I just would not get up for work, so I decided not to take that risk and stay up all night and all day that I worked. I remember that during the day all I thought about was sleeping in my bed quietly, and not having that option made feel very angry and anxious with anyone for anything, a serious mistake that I won't commit again.

Sleeping well helps with muscle development. If you are one of the people who do exercise, sleeping well is something as mandatory as doing daily exercises so as to be able to develop a high and strong muscle mass level, this is because the muscle tissues really grow is during rest, repairing damaged tissue by exercise, and the more rest you have, the more muscle you will develop. High-performance athletes are instructed to have effective and lasting rest so they can perform better in their specialty areas. Imagine for a moment a footballer going to play the next day with muscle aches or fatigue all over the body, be sure that this footballer will not perform in the same way as when he rests his 8 hours minimum. Rest after exercise is mandatory, and rest only occurs when sleeping soundly.

Due rest at night stimulates your development at work or studies. It is basically the same as I mentioned in the first point, when a person is fatigued by not having rested enough their reasoning and reaction capacity decreases considerably because the brain has been active for a very long period of time, it resembles much to when the phone has 10% of available battery, try to imagine being in that state for several hours and in the worst place to make mistakes... The work. People who often suffer from heart attacks brought on by continual stress are very often due to the little rest these people undergo on a daily basis. Once I've been told about an uncle who crashed his car for no apparent reason, but the truth is that there actually was a reason, and was that he had fallen asleep while driving his car, could have lost his life but he wasn't, the truth is that resting little at night can bring consequences like that.

The difference between resting well and just not resting is quite noticeable, at least I notice it so, the change of mood and mood between one and another example is something totally incredible, maybe there are days when I can not rest 8 hours but I always try to be that way most of the time not to be subjected to these vulnerabilities that causes mental exhaustion or physical fatigue, and to do this all I have to do is sleep as necessary, have a restful sleep. I am one of those who do exercises, and more than once my coach has told me that muscle grows in the diet and at rest more than during exercise, exercise only serves to break down muscle tissue, but what really builds muscle and generate more resistance is the deep rest that is achieved by sleeping well at night.

So if you are sleeping very little you should consider changing certain habits, because in the future the body can play a bad time because of this action, start to sleep well and rest deeply, the body needs it.
