Amsterdam Dwarf Syndrome
hi my friends;
the reasons:
1 The cause is unknown
2 The incidence rate is a case for every 10,000 - 30,000 live births
3 Most cases result from a genetic mutation, as there is no such condition in the family
4 They are believed to be transmitted by dominant heredity - which means that a patient in a gene can show complete symptoms
5 If a parent has a mild injury, according to prevailing heredity, the probability of having an infected child is 50%
6 If there is no infected child in the family, the frequency is only 0.5-1.5 of subsequent births.
In 1916, Dr. Brachmann described a group of cases characterized by the distinctive shape of the head and extremities and short stature. He was known for the dwarfs of Amsterdam. He was followed by his Dutch physician, Dr. Cornella de Lange, in 1933, who named the syndrome in his name
