Nutrition

i want to share some crucial points about the book that i had read, “nutrition and physical degeneration”

The natural and local diets of indigenous people equip them with healthy bodies.
Who do you think are the healthiest people in the world?

the secret to good health may be found in the nutritious diets of the indigenous people.

Their diets are based on local foods high in vitamins and minerals. For example, the Eskimos eat caribou and some types of whale meat, and they eat smaller quantities of berries that they collect and freeze for consumption during winter.

Such diets have very important health benefits. For example, they provide indigenous people with healthy teeth without the help of toothbrushes. The flesh around their teeth is also healthy and the population is largely free from gum-tissue diseases

Furthermore, they don't clean their teeth. This is because the minerals in their food generates saliva that protects against the bacteria responsible for teeth decay.

Another benefit of indigenous diets is that the bodies of those who practice them are resilient to disease. One doctor, who had over 25 years of contact with Eskimos didn't report a single case of important disease. Also, any problems with their kidneys, stomachs or gallbladders were very rare.

Our mineral absorption rate depends on the presence of certain vitamins which our bodies use to absorb the minerals in food. Unfortunately, these vitamins are scarce in processed food, like packaged cereals, so we have to eat a massive amount of these foods to ingest the required amount of minerals.

To consume sufficient minerals, we need to eat natural produce – seafood, for example, which is extremely high in minerals and vitamins.
