Timely post for me! I bought some active charcoal powder specifically for making toothpaste (for I get stains on my teeth) but I've been reluctant to use it for it seems so messy.
Seeing that you got good results I'm going to go ahead and give it a try!

Well the being messy is true But I rinsed the basin with water while I was brushing so it wasn’t that bad but if you leave the rests of the paste after using it it will stain your porseline of the sink or whatever you call it basin 😉 but yes try and n m log about it
