Couldn't agree more. Walking is severely underrated as an exercise.

To me, walking is the best exercise there is. I personally make sure I walk a minimum of 10,000 steps each day, going on long walks definitely brings up my mood. I find walking to be very relaxing and therapeutic.

But the best thing about walking is its FREE!
