In this day and age of evolving technology one would think that fossil fuels and nuclear energy would become a thing of the past.

Unfortunately it seems the fat cats that control the oil industry aren't quite willing to part with their trillions of dollars.

It seems the only solution is to go off grid nowadays. But the cost of solar energy and the ever-changing rules flitting between high taxation for the consumer to money saving intiatives can be financially scary and quiet frankly off putting.

Another option are wind turbines. These also have the potential to break the bank and are big bulky and can upset the aesthetics for the neigbours.

to design a wind turbine that can power a whole house for a lifetime, is about the size of a ceiling fan and the best part, only costs around $750 USD.
