Many people say if a few years after puberty, we stop growing. However, there are unique facts about the body that need to be known. Apparently there are still two body parts that continue to grow until old.

"Most of the cells in our body stop splitting after puberty," said plastic surgeon at NYC Surgical Associates and Neinstein Plastic Surgery, Ryan Neinstein.

Yes, when the cells in the body are like bone cells, muscle, fat stop duplicating, that means stop growing. However, that does not mean can not grow or shrink.
However, there are two parts, namely the nose and ears, continue to grow throughout life. This happens because the part consists of soft tissue covered with cartilage.

"When you're 80 years old and 20 years old, when the age of 80 years more cells in the ears and nose," Neinstein quoted Reader's Digest, Wednesday (23/1/2018).

That's why parents tend to have bigger noses and ears.

Neinstein has a reason not to put nails and hair into a list of body parts that do not stop growing.

"Hair and nail growth is genetically related and different from one person to another, for example, this baldness is hereditary," Neinstein said.

Unlike the case with the growth of cells in the ear that tend to be consistent.
