We have seen majority of maternal deaths are due to haemorrhage or bleeding.##
Hence scientist has invented such new medicine called CARBETOCIN which may be safer and effective to stop bleeding after delivery. It has claimed that life of thousands of women may be saved.

As per clinical examination by 10 counties of WHO (World Health Organisation) in which India also involved. After birth of child Oxytocin medicine is first preference to stop bleeding. Though Oxytocin medicine should be stored and transported at 2 to 8 degree celsius. But it is very difficult for many countries to transport this medicine and reach to hospitals at time.
Research is publised in ' New England Journal of Medicine'. According to this it has been found that CARBETOCIN medicine is not necessary to kept in cold. Its effectiveness remains 30 degree at least for three years. So this medicine is easy to transport and reach to women.
CARBETOCIN : Carbetocin is a drug used to control the bleeding at the time of childbirth.
