Fennel not only helps in proper digestion but also reduces obesity

Being a common spice, fennel is generally available in every kitchen in India. It is usually seen that the elders suggests the youngsters to eat a pinch of fennel after any food so that proper digestion could be achieved. Fennel is included into many dishes to make it appetizing as well, so that the person consuming the dish can get the benefits of all its medicinal properties. It not only enhances digestion process, but also offers many beneficial things. Fennel can work as diuretic and be used in renal calculus, if it is boiled in water and consumed empty stomach every morning. Some other uses and benefits of fennel are given below.

1. It works as breath freshener

Anti microbial properties of fennel not only cleanse your mouth, but also provide a fresh breath after every meal. In fact, it is also served in several hotels and restaurants for better and proper digestion and can also make your breath fresh and sweet.

Fennel aids in resolving various other health issues including digestion such as bowel irritation, constipation, intestinal gas, heartburn etc. people suffering constipation can consume a pinch of fennel or fennel milk after every food so that they could get relief from this disease.
