Napping is simply a light sleep during the day not exceeding an hour. A lot of people confuse Siesta with napping. If you sleep beyond an hour during the day, then that is called a Siesta. And also, a lot of people confuse Microsleep Period with napping. Microsleep period is a brief unintentional sleep i.e you have watching a movie, and you just slept off with actually planning it, but that's not the case with napping, napping is intentional. Naps helps to reduce the risk of heart diseases or problems, it works as good as Statin Drugs Studies have shown that people who napped 30 minutes every day or 3 days within a week have 37% less chances of getting heart diseases or problems.
It Improves Our Mental Performances
Napping every helps to improve our mental performances. Studies reveal that napping at least 30 minutes or even a power nap of about 10 minutes helps greatly in improving our mental performances in the sense of productivity, better attention, and creativity and that's why surgeons and pilot takes nap before performing their jobs.
It Helps Us In Remembering More
Napping helps our brain in remembering things we have learned. Studies have shown that nap helps in facilitating and consolidating learning and also in improving our abilities in remembering things. After a stressful classes of the day, it is advisable to take nap in order to help you remember the things you have just learned.

Can a Nigerian practice this? napping three days a week might rob someone of finance to buy food. Things are very expensive in Nigeria

I don't think less than 30 minutes of nap would be able to rob someone's finance and also keeping in mind that it could boost the individual efficiency, productivity, and creativity.
