Parkinson’s disease affects the nerve cells in the brain that produce dopamine.
sometimes starting with a barely noticeable tremor in just one hand.
The cause is unknown, and although there is no cure, there are treatment options such as medication and surgery to manage its symptoms.
It will happens when nerve cells in the brain can not produce enough of a brain chemical called neuro transmitter dopamine.
Symptoms:Trembling of hands, arms, legs, jaw and face
Stiffness of the arms, legs and trunk
Slowness of movement
Poor balance and coordination
Nonmotor symptoms: Recognition of the combination of nonmotor and motor symptoms can promote early diagnosis , which often results in a better quality of life.
Parkinson's only progresses to the substantia nigra and cortex over the years.
During this 1st phase of the disease, a person usually experiences mild symptoms, such as tremors a limb.
In the 2nd stage of Parkinson's disease, the person's symptoms are bilateral, affecting 2 limbs and 2 sides of the body.
Parkinson’s disease itself doesn’t cause death. However, symptoms related to Parkinson’s can be fatal.
