Parkinson's only progresses to the substantia nigra and cortex over the years.
During this 1st phase of the disease, a person usually experiences mild symptoms, such as tremors a limb.
In the 2nd stage of Parkinson's disease, the person's symptoms are bilateral, affecting 2 limbs and 2 sides of the body.
