ZIKA VIRUS, FIRSTCASE IN STATE, INDIA
A woman in rajasthan test positive for zika virus when she was doing her medical checkup.
Doctor added that she was negative for dengue or swine. But then report was sent to National Institute of Virology Pune. Their doctor confirms positive for ZIKA VIRUS.
ZIKA VIRUS is a mosquito born flavivirus which was first seen in monkeys in UGANDAin monkeys and later on in 1952 in humans according to World Health Organisation.
Symtoms: People suffering from it experience from:
Pain areas: in back of eye, joints and muscles
Fatigue,fever,eye redness,headache and vomitting
Spread By: Animal bits and unprotected sex.
Treatment :No particular vaccine is till made. On the other hand treatment mainly depend relieving symptons taking rest,rehydration and acetaminophen for pain. In this Aspirin should be avoided.
