Love your article so much, but I want to chip in something from experience on the farm, sometimes people believe that washing or peeling veggies removed the pesticides, to an extent yes, the truth is, NO, someone of this pesticides have found there way into cells of this veggies and washing is just a flimsy thing, the best is to avoid them at all cost and preach an orgarnic veggies.

Great guide. Water, vinegar and lemon juice work wonders. I like to wash lettuce and air dry with before placing in the fridge stacked between paper towels. This keeps it crisp, fresh and ready to eat. Also the reason a lot of us wash produce before putting in the fridge is because these damn kids just run in the fridge and start eating things without washing them. This helps prevent get all the nasty chemicals out of their diet. Thank you for your post.

With Organic standards miserably manipulated by big pharma..... this is a great strategy even with organic food @botefarm. Might I add when using any salt to purchase SEA SALT and not iodized salt, that stuff is poison, super super super important as all of us need more good iodine in higher quantities to protect from all the bombardment of chemicals and poisons in our air , food and water!
