Here I am Lucia again trying to find a good and virtuous topic to inscribe and share at the same time to learn about.

So the topic for today is "Health Insurance Costs and Modern Medicine".

It seems that the more secure one has, the higher the fees. Doctors now earn much more than they did proportionally a few years ago. While they know that their patients can recover most of the cost of their service, they rarely get an argument from them. In Australia we have the Medicare system that covers everything for those without private health.

The former prime minister, Tony Abbot, placed this additional burden on people that they must have health insurance. Only pensioners older than 75 are now covered by the massive billing. That is, they are not charged and the government pays for them. Before the changes of Abbot everyone had this kind of benefit but the cost was unsustainable.

Due to this increase in rates, the government is looking for ways to cut it even further. The increase in the population of migrants abroad places an additional burden on the system. Some of these people will go to two or three doctors the same day thinking that they will improve faster. Some also obtain additional medications and sell them abroad.

Modern medicine is expensive and now vets are also on par with the medical profession in regards to fees. The debate that they do the same amount of study is a logical claim, but when one does not have insurance against their accounts, it is quite difficult for many to afford it. Pet ownership is suffering as a result.

We can not go back to old systems because it gets too complicated. Once people earn more, it's hard to take it off again. This is another dilemma facing the government as it seems that there is no way they can force a decrease in the cost of medical bills covered by their program. The cost of private insurance is also growing beyond what most and now allows.
