Blood has red blood cells, white blood cells, & platelets. Red blood cells contain certain iron compounds, which is called hemoglobin. The main function of hemoglobin is the supply of oxygen from the heart to all organs of the body. Hemoglobin also collects carbon dioxide from the body & reaches it to the lungs so that we can breathe out. So when the hemoglobin decreases in the blood, our body becomes weak due to lack of oxygen.
