i think almost everyone is born a genius and most of us have it beaten out of us. it may not be physical beating. fear of consequences for social nonconformity is one of the biggest sticks. almost every day, i see people doing the most amazing things, but lacking belief in themselves, they do not apply their demonstrable genius to other areas of their function. this used to perplex me greatly. i did not know that many care more what others think of them than i seem to be able to. i now recognize this fact, though i still do not understand it. embrace your genius, don't ever let anyone make you feel less than you are.
