RE: Neuromuscular Education

in #health8 years ago

Please understand this is not advise as no real evaluation can be done, seek a physical therapist... however for your further understanding and possible relief consider this:

An impingement syndrome could possibly lead to inflammation of rotator cuff tendons (tendinitis) in the shulder as well as bursa (bursitis). And if these are not treated appropriately, the inflicted tendons can start to thin and/or tear. If the tendon/s are injured for prolonged periods, it can actually tear. Further ramifications could be a rupture of the biceps muscle due to continued impingement without treatment.

Ideas:

Turmeric for inflammation (chemicals like ibprofen over time can lead to stomach issues)
Rest for several days
Get physical therapy
Gentle stretching exercises daily
Make sure your posture is correct
Strengthen muscles and tendons of chest, back, shoulders... the entire upper torso.
Take your time, rushing will cause error and possible damage.
