The Super Market

Is more like a mortuary, all the produce you buy at supermarkets have long since reached maturity and are on the verge of dying. At that point the nutrients are already starting to deminish... but then add transport and shelf time and you are talking about plants in advancing decay.

Of course farmers markets and your own garden are fresher, cleaner and the vegtables having been recently picked, still contain the nutrients your bodies need.

But...

Many people do not have the space, time and aptitude for growing the vegtables they like and need. As example wwhat if you are like millions of humans that live in smaller spaces like apartments in the cities, where land is no where to be found... and space indoors is limited.

The Answer

Sprouting at Home

Sprouts are very rich and dense in nutrients, as you are eating the baby plant, all the actions and enzymes of budding life are present and at their peak. It is at it's more energized and powerful state and in more philospohical terms; life giving life.

Some of the matrue plants also are more aggrivating to some folks digestive systems, but the sprouts are not as difficult to digest as every cell is percolating with live energetic nutrients like vitamins, minerals, amino acids, proteins and enzymes (all that are still alive and active).

Germinated seeds and sprouts are an incredible alternative to proteins from meat as sprouts are a complete protein. Also the organic minerals found in the juices of and sprouts isa powerful health maintenance food. Untreated sprouts have the essence and components to build and fortify; nerve, tissue, bone and blood.

Fast, Efficeint Growing

Sprouts only take a few days on your countertop in jars to grow enough for eating, not months like most full grown plants. They are easy to care for so those insmaller homes or apartments can enjoy some living food no matter where they are and what time of year.

Prepping

For those of you that keep a pantry or stockpiles of food these are a must. The freeze dried food has few nutrients, canned food a bit more, but really nothing to live on well and dry food are missing nutrients as well. Your preps should have the freeze dried that will last for decades, canned also can last years (a lot depending on the foods), dry goods like beans and rices will last much shorter time and should (as all) be rotated more frequently. Finally for really long periods, get some seed banks that will seed an acre and last 10 - 20 years... but all the way through...

sprouts will be the nutrient rich supplement or meal that will help your body maintain optimum health.

That makes perfect sense. I have never thought about the grocery store produce area as being a mortuary, but you are right - it is!

I was fool enough to shop at whole foods for the last 10 years, you know that "Organic" thing. Well it maybe cleaner at twice the price... but it is still dying food. Anyway I am in transition to a more sprout enriched menu... and diet... like my prior posts are depicting.

This is quick and about the best you can do for nutrition.
