honestly and frankly, I think that folks like this girls are not actually being really sincere: when trying to criticize someone for their beliefs and adherence to certain principles, they are not really interested in the subject matter itself, but mostly or only in ... getting "cheap" recognition, i.e. by "stepping on others' heads" (on account of others)
usually it is more common for kids and teens, although some may retain this same habit even though formally they've reached external (physiological) adulthood. :D
IMO it is not proper to generalize people and thus make judgments about any certain group by some of their representatives. especially when it comes to food, life style, religion etc. it is more like what I prefer to consider as a matter of "Personal Evolution" of consciousness. each individual is on different level of that personal progress. therefore it is not suitable to even try compare or "measure" different people.
after all, life is not a "piss contest". :D
