Alugbati leaves are rich in fiber and low in calorie and fat level.

This vegetable is rich niacin, zinc, protein and vitamins A, C, E and K, Thiamin, folate, vitamin B6, calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, copper, potassium and manganese.

Have you ever heard of Alugbati salads? It is actually my first time hearing this since my parents usually only cook them as one of the ingredients for side dishes . Here is a video detailing on how to make a salad out of them or this may give you ideas on how you can make your own spinach salad recipe by being creative.

Alugbati leaves can also be used in speeding up the healing process of acne or pimples by consuming them or by crushing them and applying it in the affected area. People in the Philippines also proved that boiling leaves or stalks helps heal simple colds, headaches, highblood pressure and stomach ulcers.
