RE: What Are EMFs, How Do They Work, & Why Do They Matter?

in #health7 years ago

How depressing - just five minutes ago read an article about how there's basically micro fibres of plastic EVERYWHERE, and then read this. May as well just surgically insert a cancer tubour inside myself and the rest of my family and be done with it!

Or could perhaps take a half-hearted measure to protect against and try to find on ebay some dilapidated router that only connects by html cable and doesn't have a wifi antenna. Or go all out and make a small hobbit house in the middle of the woods far away from everyone... except for the plastic micro fibres of course...

Sort:

The world is in a really dysfunctional state, and there is quite a lot stacked against the human for real thrival. However, we embody accessible, sustainable solutions and we're here to inspire others towards full spectrum health because it IS still possible to be happy and healthy in a dysfunctional world!

And of course there are tons of safe ways to go from a cancerous cell to a non-cancerous cell if you do decide to get that implant @kate-m LOL.

It might be that I have a slight flare for melodrama, probably I won't opt for the fatalistic implant option :P I'm actually quite an optimistic person! Planting food, touching earth, walking in the forest, singing songs round campfires... not giving in to the stresses of the modern world, that is the way to walk.

Oh, and maybe a few tin hats and wall paper apparentyl! I should read
mackjez-santo infos on these things.

@kate-m
I go for the last option...😋 ... Let's go back to the days of our great great grand parents... Peaceful...healthy and all natural...

Tomorrow morning I'm going to go visit some land for sale on the edge of a National Park in Brazil, in beside a big territory owned by a Hare Krishna community, way up a mountain valley hugging the Atlantic forest and looking out over the Atlantic down below. An anti-capitalist oriented guy who wants to set up a small eco villa and looking for sound heads to share it with - I reckon that counts! We met for coffee today and there might have been talk of tree houses - that's nearly hobbit!

@kate-m
wow..a project like @thegardenofeden
nice one and keep us posted here so we can visit... find time to check my natural health tips... regards

We'll see. I won't be making any decisions until next year, but it's interesting to visit some places and swap ideas. I've actually got three different friends with similar ideas. The link to garden of eden didn't seem to work...

Thanks for that heads up - it should be fixed now.

Gardenof Eden, do you have any old posts giving an overview of your project??

sorry check it out @gardenofeden and also check out @quinneaker and @everlove these folks can guide you best...
do also visit my health blog @kenhudoy for some good natural health options and more coming up soon!

Thanks!

Welcome dear and keep steeming hot... I did updated some nice post which may interest you today... More coming soonest

I went to visit that bit of land I mentioned, I thought you'd be interested to see a couple of photos. Really special place at the head of a valley, just above a Hare Krishna community and only 30 minutes from Paraty (beautiful little historical town on the Green coast between Rio and Sao Paulo, an important tourist destination). Definitely food for thought!

One side of the land has a sizable river running along it, interspersed with swimming holes and water chutes.

At one stage the forest opens up to a hillside pasture going up the hill, with great views all the way down the valley to the Atlantic down below.

So quiet! Beautiful. 31 hectares of bliss. The owner has all sorts of cool ideas for a research and volunteer centre, yoga room, a kundalini landscaped garden, agroforestry, vegplots and tree houses.

Maybe if Steem decides to take off I can go for it :)

Wow...such a serene and peaceful place to live near nature...just like Eden... Nice photos...is the owner selling?

It really is serene and peaceful, just the birds and the sound of the waterfall. There's a fantastic Hare Krishna community next door with a beautiful temple where they dance and sing twice a day. The owner changed his mind about living in glorious isolation and has decided that he wants some like-minded neighbours, and so is thinking of selling off some lots of a couple of hectares for people to construct eco-houses on. He has an idea of it being a loose sort of eco-community where if people have cool ideas for projects then they can also, following dialogue, make use of the larger area that he will remain owner of. He's quietly connecting with selected people to see if they are interested. A real nice guy, has had an interesting and varied career and is really keen to settle in to the landscape up there and build something that adheres to his values. Has been involved with the hare krishnas, rainbow meetings, high cuisine, acting, all sorts. I like that he would be selling lots so there would ultimately be a high degree of autonomy and also privacy for whoever buys.

I'm not currently in a position to say yes, but the next 12 months is going to see a lot of changes for me so who knows.

I think I'd like to research a bit also other similar projects, find out what are the pitfalls and what is it that makes these kind of projects work. I suspect it's being very clear as regards expectations and commitments on all sides.

That sounds really exciting!! Best wishes for your success, @kate-m~*~

It 's actually possible to cable all your devises today, so nobody need to get any wifi-radiation at all. If you live to close to your nabough, and his wifi.field is hitting you house you just need to shield, with wall paper or paint, canopies or bed sheets/duvet. Anything is possble, its just the awareness that are missing on this topic.
If you are interested to learn more about this topic and how to shield yourself and your family then check out my latest postings

It's beautiful how opportunities are knocking..at least the window is open already! May you be blessed with a sacred place that provides a healthy environment to expand and thrive. Blessings to you @kate-m from the @gardenofeden. Though we may not have completely escaped the potential dangers of modern life, at least we powerfully stand in this journey together and make the very most of what we have right now. Glad to see you here!

Than you everlove. I really was being a bit melodramatic about the dangers of modern life, as long as I manage to keep up a bit of regular exercise I'm sure I'll be fine. I posted above some photos of the land I mentioned, have a look! A little slice of paradise!

OH yes I figured you were. Sometimes we all feel like hiding under a rock and away from all the crazy potential dangers of our modern existence. Grateful you too have a sweet slice of paradise!!! <3

I'm heading back to gloomy old England in two weeks! But now I feel that Paraty is a second home, even if I don't own land I know I've got loads of friends with whom I can stay. You don't actually need money to have a slice of paradise! (although it may come with discomfort caveats!)

Truly paradise is within and we carry it with us (or not!!!) wherever we go! It is great to have support and people we love to share with in a home away from home. Seems like you're getting a good dose of the awesomeness!

Yep! Doing field work researching wild food plants is awesome! You meets lots of great people!

And get all kinds of healthy!!!

Health benefits of the fieldwork get counter-balanced by the unhealthiness of the amount of computer work that is then required!!
