RE: The existence of ANY "virus"
Did you know that you can create a patent for something that doesn't need to exist? Yes you can and why is that important? Because one of the arguments for the existence of ANY "virus" is the patents so here we go.

Instead, inventors applying for patents are allowed to include predicted experimental methods and results, known as prophetic examples, as long as the examples are not written in the past tense. ...
