When You Can’t Fly . . . Read, Cook or Paint
When your lifestyle changes at the drop of a hat, it takes some time to adjust. As a retired person who normally travels quite a bit, it seems strange to stay at home for two weeks without social interaction.
I live a very active life with almost daily involvement with other people. In addition to my arts and crafts that I take at local senior centers, I also take dance lessons and yoga.
Now I am at home, with plenty of things to do but doing them while trying to keep others safe and away from me.
I am grateful that I have all of my hobbies and materials to keep myself busy. I am also grateful that I know how to cook my own meals from scratch including making bread.
I have an extensive library and I have many Kindle books that I have yet to read.
As the weather changes and the temperature gets warmer, I typically use this season to travel. I am not the only person who has to change my lifestyle for a few months.
I hope that everyone is able to stay safe and stay healthy and make sensible choices about your social interaction during this pandemic.
Enjoy your day.
But the end of all things has drawn near. Therefore be sober-minded and be sober unto prayers.(1 Peter 4:7)
