The difference in the sex of the foetus is on the man. A woman has XX chromosome while a man has XY. If the man gives Y to join one of the ladies X then it's a boy... if the man gives X to join the ladies X then it's a girl.

ignorance is what causes people to say that it's the lady just because the child is formed in her womb.
