Cold Showers And How They Benifit you

Today I'm going to discuss how a simple thing you do on the daily can be done better. It's a simple thing that we overlook and as you can tell by the title won't be enjoyable for the first few times. A friend of mine does this and has been for about a year so he told me it dramatically changed his life. The first step is biting the bullet and attacking that cold shower head on. As you do this slowly decrease the temperature do not try this all at once as you will most likely get sick.

  1. The first thing you will gain is massive willpower. Doing something you do every morning and knowing you will want to convert back to the warm water will build your mental strength over time. '

  2. Cold showers train your nervous system to be more resilient to stress. Studies show cold showers act as a small form of oxidative stress on your nervous system. You will have a greater control over your emotions. You will be calm and more relaxed during stressful scenarios and who doesn't want that?

  3. Your alertness levels will skyrocket. When you step in it will be slightly harder to breathe. You will be taking deep breaths throughout the entire shower and after you will feel great! This increase of oxygen intake and heart rate result in a natural dose of energy throughout the day.

  4. They'll improve your skin and hair. Mainly people have dry skin and cold showers will take that away! Your hair will look stronger and thicker! So believe it or not showers can even make you look better.

  5. Now, this isn't a replacement for eating healthy or going to the gym but weight loss will be another plus for cold showers. Now if you're really about this cold shower life and want to lose weight go take baths I'm sure you will be slim quick.

  6. They speed up muscle recovery. So for those of you who lift or are athletes of some sort give this a shot.

  7. Now this one is for men. They boost your testosterone levels.

  8. Another interesting benefit of cold showers is that they will boost your sperm count and increase fertility.

  9. Taking hot baths have been proven to be an effective male contraceptive. Men who took a half hour hot bath every other day for 3 weeks were rendered infertile for the next 6 months! On top of that, a study at USCF showed that men who stopped taking regular hot baths showed a sperm count increase of up to 491%.

  10. They drain your Lymphatic System. Your body will be saved from a few unwanted infections.

I will be starting cold showers starting tomorrow as I think I can deal with 20 minutes of discomfort for an entire life benefit. Try giving it a shot!
