RE: If Fluoridated Toothpaste Is Swallowed Contact a Poison Control Center Immediately! Science Has Known Fluoride To Be Dangerous For At Least 6 Decades.

For anyone interested in a medicinal and natural alternative to toothpaste, tooth soap is highly effective. Why would you clean something with paste, even Flouride-free paste?

I have a close friend who has invented her own tooth soap bars using wildcrafted & organic essential oils, and I use them every day. I made a podcast episode with her recently about her creation and we speak at length about many of the problems outlined in this wonderful post from @ura-soul as well as the solution, boycotting the toxic products and replacing them with real medicine.

Thanks for the link! I'm not sure though, why soap is any more optimal than paste.. I think paste is just used because it is a convenient way to deliver it to the teeth and spread it around without it being lost into the internal skin surfaces. Maybe the paste was thought more suitable for fluoridated products since the active ingredient will be more easy to direct inside the mouth - i'm not sure.

Propylene Glycol is what makes it "paste" and is toxic by itself, but combined with Flouride, it's able to suffocate the living cells in your teeth by plugging up all their pores. Essential oil bases soaps are much nicer to wash your mouth with than handsoap. Pastes take 20-30 rinses to be completely removed from the surface of your teeth, where soaps are totally rinsed with 2 or 3. However there are other choices too, like a raw plant based diet, which has the effect of cleaning and regulating your oral hygiene fairly well on its own. There's also baking soda and activated charcoal. Amy's got a new Opa tooth bar that contains activated charcoal and it's a fantastic whitening agent.

As usual I love reading your posts and especially love seeing all the feedback and attention your writing (deservedly) receives here on Steemit. Bravo!

Thanks for the information and your support! :)
I am looking at the list of ingredients in the organic toothpaste I amusing here and it uses vegetable derived glycerin to create the fluidy aspect of the paste's structure (which is the same ingredient I was using when I made my own previously). There's no Propylene Glycol in it, however, I don't know if Glycerin is considered any less of a problem for the teeth at the microscopic level.
