Not a few of us have experienced shortness of breath, it is very painful. Trying to take a long breath but ... that can be only slightly. Very annoying and excruciating. Sometimes I'm terrified when it happens, especially when it comes suddenly, with no warning, no sign, and even more frightening if there's no one beside us. The only way to overcome this is that we must know how to prevent and treat it ourselves without being dependent on others.

This time I will share about the ingredients and ways that you can use to prevent and reduce your shortness of breath.


There are some herbal ingredients that you can try, for example:

  • Eucalyptus Oil

Eucalyptus oil is very known as an oil that can warm the body when it feels cool. Eucalyptol content in it can break down mucus, so it can relieve your breath.

Step 1 : Squeeze the eucalyptus oil on a small towel, then place it on your forehead like when compressing a fever. Do it just before bed, so you can breathe in the aroma as you fall asleep.

Step 2 : Alternatively, drop 2 to 3 drops of eucalyptus oil into boiling water in a saucepan. You can inhale the vapor, take a deep breath, this way can also relieve your breath.

  • Beet Root

Shortness of breath can also be caused by Anemia, it occurs due to iron deficiency. Beet root is great for overcoming the shortness of breath this one. Lots of Vitamins, Potassium, Iron, and high calcium contained in it, it makes a very good beet root in consumption by people with shortness of breath.

Step 1 : Make juice with 1 beet, half sweet potato, a handful of spinach and 3 carrots. Juice can be consumed daily your shortness of breath.

Step 2 : Another way that you can use, bake 1 or 2 beets along with the skin, let it cool slightly then you can peel it and eat it. You can add a little pepper and salt if you like. Do it everyday for your shortness of breath will improve quickly.

  • Garlic

Step 1 : Take 2 or 3 cloves of garlic, peel, then boil with 1/4 cup milk. After boiling, lift and chill. Drink after cold. This herb can launch a blocked airway. This herb is also very good for people with asthma because it is very good for your lung health.

  • Honey

Honey is also efficacious overcome shortness of breath, ethereal oil content and alcohol in it believed to reduce asthma symptoms.

Step 1 : Drink 1 teaspoon of honey mixed with 1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon powder. This herb can dilute and remove the phlegm causing shortness of breath.

Step 2 : The easier way is to mix 1 teaspoon of honey into a glass of hot water, mix well, drink slowly while hot, drink three times a day.

  •  Lemons and Strawberries

Lemon and Strawberries are fruits that contain lots of Vitamin C, and Antioxidants. Lack of Vitamin C in the body is also the cause of Asthma. Antioxidants and Vitamin C in it can reduce asthma symptoms.

Step 1 : Take half of the lemon and juice the juice into the glass, give enough sugar to taste, taste regularly so that asthma attacks can be reduced. Do not eat oranges or Lemons when an asthma attack is recurring, it can aggravate your asthma.

Step 2: Strawberry is a delicious and fresh fruit, so strawberries can you make a juice or just eat directly without being mixed with other ingredients.
