Reading about the BSE gave me the shivers. It is even scarier to imagine a human falling prey to that or some form of that.
Obviously enough there is no one to be held responsible for it. A lot of that has to do with the fact that we never take steps for awareness aginst things like these.
The reason no one was held responsible is because our governments blammed mad cows....

I grew up on raw milk, I would milk my neighbors cows and bring home free milk!
