Swine Flu or H1N1 virus is type of influenza virus and it symptoms are similar to the regular flu. It is originated from pigs and spread from person to person.
History:
Swine Flu is respiratory disease of pigsand was first discovered in humans in 2009 and spreaded in the whole world. It was declared asn panademic by WHO in 2010 and killed more than 4000 people in USA in 2009-10. Since then H1N1 virus is known as normal flu virus. It spreads during flu seasons like normal flu.
Symptoms:
• Fever
• Cough
• Sore throat
• Stuffy nose
• Red waterd eyes
• Body aches
• Head ache
• Diarrhea
• Nausea and Vomitting
Precuations:
• Stay at home if you feel sick
• Contain your cough
• Wash hands frequently
• Use hand sanitizer
• Avoid crowds
• Reduce exposure with your household
• Visit your doctor and have necessary tests
Treatment:
If you have symptoms of H1N1 then get vaccination on time. Use anti-viral medicines within first or second day when symptoms appears to get relief of flu as soon as possible. Drink plenty of liquids, Take rest and have sleep to help your immune system fight infection.
