Among the participants with one to four symptoms, 1,300 experienced a stroke, while among those with no symptoms, 365 had a stroke. Furthermore, individuals with five to eight symptoms of insomnia had a 51% increased risk, with 436 out of 5,695 experiencing a stroke.

On the other hand, participants aged 50 or older with the same number of symptoms had a 38% increased risk, with 33 out of 654 individuals experiencing a stroke.
