Take Care of Yourself Before It's Too Late
Just got up from bed and turned on my laptop. When I looked at my laptop screen, it seemed the text on the web browser was not clear.
"What's happening with me? Am I going blind?" I thought.
I got little scared. Then I remembered that I stayed up late at night, and couldn't get enough sleep. My eyes were burning. I thought maybe I got little sleep last night and that's why, this was happening to me.
I went back to bed again and just closed my eyes. I didn't know when I got into deep sleep. After a couple of hours I woke up. I went to wash my face with water. Then I came back and I looked around through windows. I could see everything clear.
I turned on my laptop again. Two days ago I updated my laptop's operation system and I forgot to adjust the brightness. It was so bright. And last two days I spent most of time in front of laptop. Maybe this is one of reasons not to see text clearly.
Well, when I opened my web browser, I could see text clearly this time.
I'm so happy that it is not what I thought it is. One thing I learn from this is that take care of your eyes.
Don't look at the screen of laptop, cell phone or TV for a long time. Look around sometimes so that your eyes don't feel so much pressure. Don't sit down and keep working for too long without moving your body. If you're at office, you can get up from your desk, take a walk and talk to your colleagues. You can take stairs instead of elevator.
If you don't take care of yourself, then who is going to do that for you?
If you have to catch the train and you miss that, you can always go and take the next train. But if you lose your body, can you get one?
