Generally, it is defined as what the doctor does in preventing , diagnosing and curing diseases. Medicine is defined as an art and science of healing. According to louis lasanga , medicine is science because it is based carefully on experimentation, observation and it is also an art(skill) because it depends on how skilled the doctor is when applying the treatment. Medicine is essence to save life and reduce suffering.
