Time for our Tuesday tip: Magnesium!

Magnesium is crucial for our heath for a few of reasons: it keeps our heart healthy, our bones strong, it helps regulate our blood and maintain our energy levels...so it’s super important to consume magnesium rich foods in our diet!
Adults need about 400mg a day but this can be increased if necessary to relieve constipation, muscle pain, anxiety and hormone balance. It’s all round a great mineral to have!

Some examples of foods high in magnesium are:
Bananas, nuts, legumes and dark leafy vegetables like spinach and kale. 🥬🥜 🍌
Other sources of magnesium are chocolate (dark and above 80%) preferably dairy free. Be aware that chocolate has caffeine in, so best avoided at night! So a little bit of chocolate isn’t all that bad after all! 🍫😜🤷🏻‍♀️😋
