Importance of immunization.

What is immunization?
Immunization is simply the administration of vaccines.
What are vaccines?
Vaccines are either live/attenuated vaccines, killed vaccines, toxoids that are introduced into the body to stimulate the production of anti-bodies against specific infections such as, measles, cerebrospinal meningitis, diphtheria, pertussis,poliomyelitis etc.
Believe me when I tell u that many diseases we suffer from today is as result of lack of immunization which greatly affects children.to this it is also vital that we preach immunization to everyone so that they can know the importance as not to have problem in the future. Please note this, the ability to leave a disease free life starts from immunization. This message is not just to mothers but to everyone so that the message can be spread to prevent childhood diseases and illnesses.every child must be immunized from birth starting with BCG
which fights against tuberculosis and ending with measles and yellow fever.i witnessed
a case of a child who suffered from paralytic polio as a result of lack of immunization. Immunization is important as the air we breadth.immunization is not a choice but a must do for a safer and healthy life.
