Breast cancer is not only a concern for women since this disease also occurs in the male gender. And like all cancer is a condition in which malignant (cancerous) cells are formed in the tissues of the breast, man.

This cancer attributed its appearance to the family history of breast cancer or inherited mutations (genetic changes).

One of the first warning signs to detect this disease is the presence of an irregular and painful mass in the man's mammary gland.

As diagnostic methods to assert the presence of this disease requires blood studies, ultrasound, tumor markers and carcinogens among others.

The coping of this disease in men is as equal to that of women, where the main affectation is psychological and other factors that will affect the prognosis (probability of recovery) and treatment options.

Breast cancer occurs in men of any age, and although it is only 2% of this type of cancer, in most cases is usually fatal, everything will depend on the early arrest of this disease in order to provide timely treatment and effective.

Advice for early diagnosis of the presence of breast cancer.

Avoid being exposed to radiation.
Before the observation of mutations (changes) in other genes.
It should be touched daily in a counter-clockwise direction.
Presence of secretion through the nipple.
Pain on palpation

If you present some of these symptoms, go immediately to the Doctor.

This is good information to be reminded of, @felixrodriguez! I find it interesting that it is recommended to avoid exposure to radiation, and diagnosis for men does not include mammography. For women, we are being told to get mammograms every year or two after a certain age. If men's breast cancer can be detected without mammography, why wouldn't women be better off using those same diagnostic tests? I can't help but wonder whether mammography "discovers" so many cases of breast cancer because the proceedure itself is causing cancers that might otherwise be contained by the body's own immune system if it had only been left undisturbed by compression and radiation.

What are your thoughts?
Cheers!

Breast cancer in men is a malignant neoplasm that develops from breast tissue. It often occurs against the background of hyperestrogenemia. In the initial stages, it is manifested by breast enlargement. There may be discharge from the nipple. With the progression of the disease, regional lymph nodes increase, pains appear due to the germination of the tumor into the surrounding tissues. Weight loss and signs of general intoxication are noted. Pay attention to this and contact specialists in a timely manner. I managed to defeat the disease with the help of el4 cell line.
