Antbiotics are failing

700,000 people die globally each year due to bacterial infections but situation may get more worse as health expert says that death toll can rise to 10 million by 2050. This is very alarming situation and the major reason behind this is that people does not complete course of medication. Last year, an organism claimed the life of a women in Nevada, USA, which is said to be resistant to every know antibiotic and now this organism has been found in UAE.

The betterment of an antibiotic is it's own undoing as well. An Antibiotic may eliminate millions of bacteria but few bacteria does escape the death and this leftover bacteria evolves itself against that antibiotic used for it, and multiplies rapidly. The situation can be controlled by regulating and taking strict measures against distribution of antibiotics without a proper prescriptions and people must be educated on basic hygienic practices
