I started cooking my chips but I noticed that they took longer than usual to soften, and when they were ready I noticed that they were very gummy or slugful I thought they were bad, I even thought about going to the supermarket and telling them something was wrong. But when reading the bag, notice that it said MELLOCO
From there, I started researching and found many benefits.

Its scientific name is Ollucus tuberosus, it is a tuber rich in water, it contains protein, starch, carbohydrate, crude fiber, vitamin C, it is reduced in fat and sugar. In Venezuela it is known as RUBA, (it can be found in several colors red, white and yellow
