Why Staying Hydrated Is Important

Keep yourself hydrated, it's something that many people do not care about, but it's very important.


You should always drink plenty of fluids several times a day especially water, try to avoid sodas and sugary drinks, and even in tea and coffee try to avoid sugar because all drinks with sugar will increase the number of calories ingested.


Sometimes people just confuse the sensation of thirst with the sensation of hunger thus end up eating more and increasing again the unnecessary intake of food and calories


Hydration is also very important for functions of the body such as muscles, heart, and brain, should drink on average 1.5 liters of water per day, pay special attention also during the summer during which we dehydrate more quickly.


It is also important to recognize the signs of dehydration that may include: dark urine, dry mouth and thirsty feeling, dizziness, headache, and fatigue.


But the best thing to do is to take preventive action and not let it get to that point.
