RE: L-arginine supplementation part 2: How the amino acid can help and prevent alzheimers and dementia.

in #health7 years ago

I might just continue while I'm at it... :)

I saw you writing about the relation between tooth loss and dementia. Whats the mechanisms? It's bad L-arginine/ ADMA relation. How can I make such a claim with confidence? Because those starting supplementation with l-arginine are not only stopping loosing teeth and stopping bleeding in their gums, but the teeth that are loose and expected to come out, are fastening again. Studies also show a strong relation between loosing teeth (pyrea, periodonditis) and heart health.

Then you have the NO oxygen release function, contributing a great deal to oxygenation of tissue, as well as it's function as a signaling molecule in the nervous system. The last one also potensially contributing to cognitive function.

Then you have the NO function in the immune system as well.

There is another pathway getting more attention recently, the nitrate pathway.

This in general not being known to the mainstream in the medical world is a strong testimony that something is terribly wrong with the system today.

Hope the information is of value :)
