Non HDL Cholesterol and VLDL Cholesterol
Use these formulas to determine your Non HDL Cholesterol and VLDL Cholesterol
Total triglyceride value divided by 5 = VLDL.
Total cholesterol+trigycerides minus HDL = Non-HDL
The only lipid numbers which seems relevant from an evidence based approach are the Non-HDL and the VLDL. Both can be estimated using the formulas even if labs don't report these numbers on lipid panels.
You can also use TC/HDL to give you a ratio which also is useful. Lower ratio is better.
This can also easily be turned into an app if there is demand for something like that. The app could then be hosted or perhaps even done in such a way to exist on a blockchain. Generally speaking, anyone who is over 40 should track these numbers in my opinion, and anyone under 40 should at least be aware of their risk. Generally the older we get the greater our risk if we are male but in some people who have family history even at a young age the risk could be high so tracking these numbers could be important.
If you've received a lipid panel and know your cholesterol results then these formulas can be useful to determine your actual risk from the rather useless numbers in the typical lipid panel. The human body functions best with low Non-HDL cholesterol and VLDL is the worst kind of bad cholesterol.
Interesting, thanks
The good old fashion preventative medicine always does the trick, diet and exercise, avoiding seafood or shell-food can also help... intense and abrupt neck pain also correlates with high cholesterol... the higher your ratio, the greater the likelihood of having cardiovascular disease

Great health advice, so many people still believe Cholesterol is all bad, they then go about a life missing out on very important minerals and vitamins, amino acids and other beneficial elements of good oils and fats.
