Well cleaning the crap out of the diet really does some amazing things. It is always hard to tell why health issues are improving. Certainly, the decrease in inflammation that is brought about by losing weight helps with everything.

Things like removing gluten from the diet usually show up as both health improvement and weight loss since it reverses the leaky gut that wreaks havoc on the body.
