Eat Healthy & Stay Healthy!

Hi, everyone. I wanted to share with you my story of determination…I was a PEPSI DRINKER FOR LIFE…. Growing up in the capital of Pakistan, we were addicted to Pepsi, yes the soft drink that causes harm. In my teen years, I used to drink an average of four cans a day each of 330ml to the last drop literally. I used to be so addicted that my father used to say I have Pepsi in my veins instead of blood. My HCL level or simply acid level started rising. I still would not quit then suddenly my periods' date went ahead ten days and I was quite worried because I always had healthy periods all my life. The doctor started scaring me about PCOs and the cause of it being, genetics, unhealthy diet, unhealthy lifestyle, hormonal imbalance etc. Well luckily I was not diagnosed with PCOs as my cycle resumed to be normal yet, the diet she prescribed was avoiding ready-made processed food, injected chicken and cold drinks were a big time NO. What no Pepsi??? I asked. No, she said. I made my mind and started my journey to boycott processed food and Pepsi. The song used to play in my head ‘Thori si jo pee li hai chori to Nahi ki’ but I stopped. It has been a couple of years now since I have completely stopped and I stopped all of a sudden, once I realized it was harmful I didn’t quit slowly I stopped out of sheer determination and free will.
So it has been two Pepsi free years for me. I say no to sugar, drinks and processed food and I don’t crave any more. I gladly say, No thank you, to cold drinks and take just normal water. With a will, you can achieve anything and everything, keep believing and keep doing. Wishing you all a happy healthy life
