Dear Diary: I Had A Hemoglobin Blood Test For Today And It Revealed An Amazingly High Results
My parents insisted for me to get the injectable medicine that is called an "EPO" which is the hormone drug that is used by bicyclists and other athletes to raise their hematocrit/hemoglobin levels so that it can provide their bodies with more strength and endurance during their competition. What it does is that it tells to the bone marrow to produce more red blood cells because our blood come from the inside of our bones.
So more blood more oxygen that can be delivered to our body's cells and in turn more power is produced by our bodies. But in dialysis patients, they no longer produce this EPO hormone so they have to either get a blood transfusion or inject this expensive kind of drug so that they won't get so anemic and die.
But I am not anemic anymore that is why I am not pale-looking in my photos so I do not need blood transfusions anymore or inject myself with EPO twice a week to raise the level of my hematocrit (red blood cells). But my parents will go to morrow to request (or get) the free EPO that the government gives from their charity department here in the city near my town.
That is why I am required to have my hemoglobin checked as part of the requirements. So I am just happy to see the miraculous results for my complete blood count and it is really crucial for me because I will not be able to tolerate my parathyroid medicine if my red blood cells are low or I am anemic. Glory be to God for that and thanks to God for my steemit friends. God bless you because you are the hand of God for me.

Great to read some good news... I had hemolytic anemia when I was a kid, and remember hemoglobin and blood cell counts where always important numbers for my body. I also used to have blood transfusions. Glad to hear you no longer need them. Good for you cryptopie and "keep on keeping on!"
This disease looks very awful. Blood test results have not been bad like this?
