Dear Diary: Boost The Good Bacteria In Your Gut For A Healthy Digestion

In the video above we would learn the value and importance of adding additional beneficial bacteria in our intestines. We do need good bacteria in our digestive system because for one reason we needed to make the bad bacteria colony in check so that they won't produce toxins that can certainly harm us.

It is the reason why we get sicker when we take antibiotics in an extended periods of time because it tends to kill the good bacteria and thus allowing the bad bacteria to multiply and create in infection in our gut.

Also, one reason that we needed to take good bacteria is that it helps us with our digestion. These good bacteria digest our foods for us and when they combat the bad bacteria they die but they would release the digested foods and it will then be absorbed by our intestines. So they really digest our foods for us in the process.

You will know that you are getting enough good bacteria in your diet by the smell of your fart, if it doesn't smell bad then you are doing it right. There are many ways in getting good bacteria and that is by eating for example Kimchi, fermented cabbage leaves, green mangoes, Kefir, or those ready to drink good bacteria drinks like Yakult which one small bottle will give you 8 Billion lactobacilli (Shirota Strain).
