Wouldn't you say it works in tandem with, rather than counteract THC? Since they are different compounds essentially. That's why balanced strains are so effective in the sense that the utilization of the THC ( more so relaxes the mind ) and CBD ( more so body effects ) give you a more blanketed medicinal effect.
I have had personal experience with medicinal marijuana here in Canada. I have used CBD oil and it worked wonderfully. I had a bad spot in my back for a few years that stretching could not fix until I started using the CBD oil. I think it was the first time my body wasn't tensed up in some way for those few years after injuring my back. everything kinda just released and my back soundsed like a water bottle. I can now bring my knee to my chest with little discomfort when before i could hardly make it past my waist......i'm 28 I shouldn't feel that frial haha.

CBD and THC work better when they're used together. Full spectrum medicines (tinctures, RSO, etc) are typically superior for management of most types of medical issues that cannabis helps with. Research "The Entourage Effect"
Absolutely. I've only recently continued learning more about the more scientific/medicinal side of cannabis use as I had stopped for some time. The learning curve is quite high if you want to really get into the nitty-gritty details, but it's a fun journey to learn what works for you.
We are just starting to understand the broad uses of this once demonized plant!!!!

thanks for your comment! Yes they work together.....what I meant is that high levels of CBD can curve the psychoactive effect of THC
