Destroying Terpenes and Isolating CBD = WASTE OF TIME

in #health7 years ago

This is to inform you that buying "highly concentrated" CBD oils or isolates for your "health" is a crock. Sorry but it is. I personally do use one of the products mentioned in this video and that would be nutraceuticals hemp paste. It is the WHOLE PLANT so you are getting the "entourage" or synergistic healing effect which is what you want. The CBD concentrates and isolates do not present you with the full spectrum this plant has to offer. Many people get stuck on just the cbd concentration % and sadly don't seem to understand that it is simply not natural to deconstruct the plant so much that you have to synthetically add terpenes FROM OTHER PLANTS "for the taste." There are actual studies pointing out the toxic side effects of this and it is highlighted in the video above.

So when you think of the plant, consider that to maximize health benefits derived from it, to include reducing cancer cell formation; chemically stripping it is allowing you to attain benefits from only cbd not the entire hemp plant.

I feel "qualified" to report on this as I am:

  1. A person with PTSD & severe anxiety/ depression who uses and highly benefits from the product in its most natural form via nutraceuticals hemp paste. There's no chemical byproducts or fake terpenes here!
  2. I work at a hospital and more and more people are coming in SICK from taking these CBD isolate powders or highly concentrated oils. Just recently a lady passed out in a crowded restaurant & had to be medically evac'ed after having eaten a CBD oil drenched cracker!!

I HIGHLY suggest this product:

That link will take you to my friend @web-gnar affiliate page for nutraceauticals or you can buy direct from nutraceuticals. It has changed my life being on this supplement. I tried the oils and other such products before and felt weird or off. In other words, not helped. Please take some time and watch the above video to learn more.

Thank you for dropping by. Please leave your thoughts. This is an open discussion.

Nice, writeup @chelsea88!

I am such a huge advocate for the topic of medicinal marijuana, as the plant has helped me so much especially in my recovery from cancer.

I hadn't heard of this brand of product before but will take a look for sure. My love and I have been looking for a product that would help her with some pain and that would be travel friendly.

Thanks for the tip!

Glad to meet you @intuitivejakob
Yes please try it. I hope it helps you both. And, I am so happy to hear this plant has helped you in your cancer recovery process.

Thank you very much!

i found out about Hemp Paste from Ken Rohla. you should look into the stuff he teaches too. he was appointed to heal Martain Luther King's mother back in the 80's when he also worked with Yull Brown, who developed a #HHO (water fuel) technology.

he has mastered techniques of created high #Ormus superfoods that you can grow yourself and heal cancer ect.

heres a testimonial from ken which caused me to look into hemp paste.

heres another testimony by him along with some info about the legality of hemp paste.

way to spread the word @chelsea88. its a new product. Its suspicious why there are not more #wholeplant cbd products on the market. probably because scientists dont get funding to research products that actually heal the body.

Hard not to be suspicious when mainstream medicine is pure profit sick making. Grow your own whole plants is the best way to be healthy

Thx @web-gnar and yes I agree it is suspicious!!

Why not just grow your own plants from seed ?

in some states it is still illegal to grow your own. but i think your point is, "why not make this stuff yourself" and the answer to that would be "you totally should!" i guess the only important part would be getting a strain of weed that has little to no THC and a lot of CBD, like this hemp paste stuff.

@web-gnar
Ill keep buying. I'm a preferred customer and plan to go small business as well so...

@offgridlife
A. I am not a green thumb so i wouldn't anyway
B. It's ILLEGAL AS HELL in Maryland where I live here in the states

Oh ... it will be legal to grow up to 4 plants for your own personal use here in Canada starting on July 1st 2018

Wow that's great. It is just a matter of time here in the US. "They" just want us all dumbed down on big pharma bs rn.

I'm a bit confused. In the video it seemed like the process of "cooking" the plant matter (decarboxylate) was undesireable yet the website selling your product states "we decarboxylate the cannabinoids by cooking at a low temperature for many hours in medically superior MCT oil."

they decarb it at a low temp for a long time, at a temp just below what destroys the terpenes and other cannabinoids.

@randseed, if able I would try to buy one of the cheap samples. It is not cooked down as @web-gnar said. It really has the feel, look, and taste of the whole plant

I live here in WA so I get to see all of the legal cannabis products that are made. CBD isolate is not synthetic or a lab-made cannabinoid. That is just false. All CBD isolate comes from extracting and refining high cbd cannabis, unless it is made federally by the gov or stated otherwise.

One of the main reasons it is isolated is because it is given to patients who do not want any other part of the hemp plant mixed with their medicine. Everything here is dosed and weighed accordingly too so there is less user error.

That is just false
I don't recall saying that all cbd isolates are synthetic but, okay.
Also that's fine if it is all someone wants. My main position here is make full use of the plant health benefits via the entourage or synergy effect.
And to point out that soaking a cracker in cbd oil can make you sick. Even if "dosed and weighed accordingly" user error as you call it is very high/a lot higher than people think. Esoecially if a relatively small hospital i work is having ER admits because of it.
Also not everyone lives in WA so the education on correct use of these highly concentrated products is simply not avalable to ppl in most parts of the country

The reporter in the video talked about how the cbd oils on today’s market are filled with lab made products refinded so far to where they are synthetic. This video was biased but I watched and listened to the whole thing. He doesn’t go into the specifics of the butane or co2 processes. He didn’t report on the other side of why these companies are choosing to do this. Instead he blames it on a popularity standard.
There are products out there other than paste that offer full spectrum cannabinoids. In the video when he went onto the analytical site, he chose two of the worst products he could find in that high cbd range. And this was only one analysis company.

There are patients who benefit from thc and cbd, that’s why these high percentage oils and concentrates are needed. If you have someone going through chemo or a person has seizures, you need a fast acting remedy. How much paste would I need to treat a patient for a week?

The reason I’m putting so much energy into this is because you’re saying that these products are a waste of time. They are the exact opposite.

@masscollective
When made in the quality you're discussing and for that purpose, I agree. My point is that meanwhile we have people taking the highly concentrated stuff incorrectly.i.e. as I already pointed out, a woman using cheap (Read low quality, not saying ALL cbd oils are) CBD oil on a saltine that was saturated with it, passed out in a restarnt and had to be medically evaced. I have other examples too. My point is the average user doesn't need that much and would experience more health benefits from the full spectrum products. It would be safer. People such as the one I mentioned are now probably too afraid to even try any cbd out hemp products. Really, I am simply lamenting the lack of education out there. That's It.

I trust very few of the for profit companies in WA. The majority of them use pesticides & fertilizers that ruin the medicinal value of the plant & can make people sick. There are some good products to be found, but I am highly suspicious of all the commercial cannabis available & am rarely satisfied with what I try from the store. Furthermore, these companies can & do use sick plants when needed to make concentrates & the testing process for cannabis & extracts leaves a lot of room to rig the system. Keep the weed small in the hands of the people & it will stay medicinal. Give it to Monsanto like profit companies & they will weaponize it against are health

I totally understand what you mean. I think just in the industry in general there will always be people who abuse something when they can. The grow that I work at was using botincare and adv nutrients, and now in the process of switching to heavy 16. As for pesticides haven’t seen what they use. But I do know when we have samples sent out to testing they can be rejected. The growers just had a 20 lb lot that we couldn’t do anything with. Some companies do what they can with what they got. Some cut corners to make a couple cents on the gram. When I buy flower I try to stick to one company though. I press personal rosin so I don’t go to the store that often

What you’re saying about CBD products is entirely true. Most people I talk to are looking to use recreationally, and often ask about trying CBD “to see what it does,” only to try some crap product and find that it does nothing for them.

They become even more surprised when I tell them that CBD is actually a THC agonist, and that if they’re looking solely to “get lit,” CBD is the LAST thing they want. CBG? Sure. CBN? Awesome. CBD? No. Not unless you actually have something that it works for.

I also inform people who don’t know about the entourage effect that a lot of crap is made from hemp, which doesn’t have it, but I’m also in a rec state, so people know which companies are legit because the stores know that people aren’t going to keep paying $40/50-gram of distillate if it doesn’t do anything, and generally don’t stock hemp only products that can be ordered online.

Overall, nice way of getting a few facts that most people that know about CBD already knew out there, but your “review” is an attempt to get people to buy into an MLM that you’re making money off of, therefore making it far more biased than the hundreds of thousands of reviews available written by customers with no skin in the game...

In fact, I could give you a real review of probably over a dozen antidepressants I tried first to combat my PTSD

@oregonog
Thanks for the well thought out response and criticism. I was not in business as a seller of this product at the time of this post. Can prove that too.

i think people on steemit get mad when you try to advertise real products. or they are just really put off by "MLM" programs. mlm is a good way to get people to spread the word, idk. look at the bitconnect network. lot of people say its a scam. but it might not be. the only way it would be is if they closed up shop and stole everybodys money, until that happens, people are just jealous of people who have made like 100,000 in that.

Or we’re old enough to remember people getting screwed on everything from selling Tupperware and Avon(some of the first,) through things like Jamberry and Scentsy today. Usually it doesn’t come down to “luck.”

These companies know exactly how many of their reps are needed to get the amount of sales required for them to make a profit in a given market. If it were an honest market, up line sellers would be limited in how many down sellers they can recruit so that there is in fact room for everyone.

The fact of the matter is that if you’re one of the people driving a car around advertising an MLM, you probably had to ruin a lot of people’s lives to get that car. I’d rather not.

Sure, there are exceptions to the rule, but this is why those of us over a certain age could never trust an MLM right off the bat the way we would a regular retail establishment.

@web-gnar
Thx for the comment. Yes I agree and nutraceuticals would be pretty far from the "worst" in terms of MLM "scams" as you can work in teams of no greater than FIVE.
As far as bitconnect goes, exactly!
