I convinced my dad to stop taking Statins after he was having some really bad side effects, he couldn't go for a 10 minute walk at one point without his legs cramping up. After doing some research and hearing numerous Doctors speak out against them too he agreed to stop taking them and 4 years later is now a keen rower training 3-4 nights a week and racing almost every weekend. Fit as a fiddle!!
