Heres the thing, and please dont just downvote I am looking for an honest discussion, why is this so bad? Im really asking this genuinely. The powers that be are not killing anyone to limit the population, and they are not starting any new wars. They're just limiting population growth - which can be seen as a good thing as many polymers and non-renewable resources are being used up and polluting our planet because of the increased demand generated by a booming population. Plus if the powers that be goal is to limit population, theyve done a pretty bad job. Populations have have gone from 2 billion in 1927 to 7 billion today.
Greetings! I think that you didn't listen to what Kevin has to say as he addresses all these points - although I don't agree with his assessment in some cases.
Your last comment omits the consideration that population growth can be being slowed dramatically and still be going upwards anyway - his point is that without the population control programs, the populations would be even more dramatically high than they are.
You can use politically correct language such as 'limiting population growth' if you like, but the reality is that the method being allegedly employed here DOES cause death directly, plus cancer, limited consciousness and thus untold suffering and destruction. Yes, they are starting new wars also - though that is not the focus of this post.
The entire point here is that most people can accept that there is a need to live responsibly and to not overpopulate the planet - however, the appropriate solution to that issue is not to covertly poison the majority of people!
