Why Do The Elite Often Live To Be 100 and Beyond? Life-Extension Technology Perhaps?

Former President Jimmy Carter was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma, lesions on the brain and liver just a few years back and that's certainly not a pleasant diagnosis at any age. But in late 2015, it was reported on major news outlets that Jimmy Carter was in remission. The Former President and his wife, now 92 and 89 respectively, were recently seen at the Presidential Inauguration look absolutely healthy and terrific for their ages.

I could cite other examples of elite who have either overcome health challenges or those who have never had major health issues in the first place. The Royal families, former presidents and politicians, actors, the rich and famous....All seem to have a high record of living to a ripe old age. Unless, of course, they choose to live a destructive lifestyle boozing it up and living recklessly. But let's go a bit deeper, shall we?

According to Wikipedia, "Life extension science, also known as anti-aging medicine, indefinite life extension, experimental gerontology, and biomedical gerontology, is the study of slowing down or reversing the processes of aging to extend both the maximum and average lifespan."

I believe that the longevity of the elite goes way beyond their just being able to pamper themselves. You see, I am personally convinced that there are medications and treatments, both homeopathic as well as allopathic, that are made readily available to an inner-circle of elite. Of course, some would call this a conspiracy theory and if you choose to believe that, then I respect your viewpoint as you're entitled to your own opinion.

But as far as I'm concerned, Life-extension technology does exist to some degree and it very well may be years and years ahead of the current system of treatments offered to the general public.

Despite the strong efforts and attempts to conceal such technologies, I am persuaded that a shift is now underway. In other words, you cannot hold back the floodgates of information which is freely flowing into the minds of the truth seekers.

We've seen a lot of breakthroughs in science as well as all other forms of the technological sphere, but get ready because I think we've only seen a glimpse of what is to come! This is a year and an era of change so let's see what happens and what kind of medical breakthroughs come our way!

I would have just said "hacks" but I think we all know they are hacks already. :P

I have also suspected this! Look at the Queen and Robert Mugabe! Hopefully SA "leaders" are not in the loop!

Interesting food for thought here. Of course, one simple explanation is that wealth means they have access to the best of everything in terms of healthy foods, medical care, and relaxation/stress relief, all of which contribute to longevity. Aside from that, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if there are health/life preserving methods or treatments that the elite have access to that the average person has not even heard about.

@eyeofthestorm
It certainly is something to think about and I want to say that you bring out some excellent perspectives, too! Thanks for your comments!
